Monolith Retreat

Monolith Retreat is a 24-key hospitality concept set against the Sharr range. The building is conceived as a single rotated prism that mediates between two ridge lines. Each suite is oriented to a single horizon, framed by a triangular bronze aperture.

The brief asked for a building that would mediate its site while also asserting a clear geometric identity. Our response was a single irreducible figure repeated at three scales: an outer envelope, an inner volume and a hand-held detail. Every element of Monolith Retreat traces its proportion back to that single triangle.
